405 stainless steel is low chromium pure ferrite stainless steel, in 410S added aluminum, so that the oxidation resistance of the rigid, non-hardening steel, less cold work hardening, with the equivalent of low chromium stainless steel oxidation resistance, plasticity, toughness and cold forming is superior to the chromium containing high other ferric stainless steel.
