TYPES OF GABIONS
Gabions come in a variety of shapes and sizes, and they're used in a variety of ways. Gabion walls, gabion baskets, gabion mattresses, gabion bags, and gabion wire mesh are all common styles due to the wire mesh's malleability.
Gabion Basket: Gabion baskets are box-shaped wire mesh baskets that come in a variety of sizes and are commonly used in highway and railway construction.
Gabion Mattresses: Gabions serve as erosion barriers when used as mattresses. They're also known as reno mattresses, and they're used in channel coating
Gabion Wire Mesh: It is widely used on highways and railways for slope stabilisation and rock/stone falls protection. Welded mesh or wire mesh gabions are often used in embankments to stabilise them with geogrids.

How to Reduce and Control Road Traffic Noise
1. As tall as possible, to stop highway noise escaping over the top of the barrier.
2. As dense as possible, to stop road noise passing through the barrier.
3. Have no gaps or holes in or under the barrier, that allow road noise to pass through.
4. Have an irregular surface to diffuse the sound when it hits the acoustic barrier.
5. Wide enough, so that traffic noise does not get around the sides of the barrier walls.

Rockfall Protection Net
Protection nets are nets that prevent rocks and stones from falling on roads and railways and other structures and damaging these structures. The nets are made of high galvanized and/or PVC coated double twisted hexagonal steel wire netting. Hexagonal wire mesh conforms to ASTMA641 and EN10223-3. The most important feature that distinguishes hexagonal wire meshes from lattice wire meshes is that they do not experience any unraveling because they are knotted. So much so that even if a few wires break, the networks maintain their integrity. PVC coated applications are recommended for applications in aggressive, corrosive areas. In this case, besides the Galvanizing process, the wire is covered with a PVC layer of min.0.50mm. The technical characteristics of the PVC coating comply with the relevant standards.
Blast Wall/ Cage Hesco barrier
The Blast wall fencing also named as the HESCO MIL,Hesco barrier,or Hesco bastion,is a modern gabion primarily used for flood control and fortifications. It is made of a collapsible wire mesh container and heavy duty fabric liner, and used as a temporary to semi-permanent levee or blast wall against small-arms fire and/or explosives. It has seen considerable use in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Blast Wall is a prefabricated, multi-cellular system, made of zinc coated steel welded mesh and lined with non-woven geotextile.Units can be extended and joined using the provided joining pins.It is easy installed with using minimal manpower and commonly available equipment.After extended,it is filled into sand,stone,then hesco barrier like a defence wall or bunker,it is widely use in fortifications

Hesco barrier structure
Similar to beehive, Hesco barrier is comprised of external welded gabion and interior fabric liner. Its content includes soil, sand or little stone. The line would be yellow, grass green or other colors which blends well with the surroundings.
Hesco Barrier Installation
1. Unpack the collapsible wire mesh container from package.
2. Unfold the barrier and connect barriers to reach the designed length
3. Fill soil, sand or gravel into the container. The common machine is front end loader.
4. Compact the content

Assembly method
The spiral wire is to connect neigbour welded wire mesh panels together. It is easy to connect two panels by spiral wire just by hand.12 spiral wire and 6 welded meshs is needed for one set welded gabion baskets.

are a special way of joining Gabion structures. Spirals are of the same quality as braided wire.Available in spiral form as "Heavy Galvanized", "PVC Coated" and "Zinc-Al".
Binding Wire (See Fig.II)
Binding wires are the easiest way to join Gabion structures. Binding wires and braid wires are of the same quality. Unless otherwise specified in orders, binding wire is included as standard.
C-Rings (See Fig.III)
C-Rings are manufactured from high strength "Zinc-Al" coated steel wire or Stainless Steel Wire. Stainless Steel C-Ring is used in PVC coated gabion baskets.
Pneumatic C Clip Machine (See Fig.IV)

Packaging and delivery
Gabions are manufactured with all components mechanically connected during production. All gabions are supplied in the collapsed form, folded and bundled. The bundles are compressed and strapped together at the factory for easy shipping and handling.
